Check out this volleyball clip.  Notice how all the players are moving all the time.  They are adjusting to where they think the ball might go.  Knees are bent and nobody is ever standing still.  This is a key to being ready.  You should always be moving, always adjusting.

Successful tournament

The team did a great job on Friday facing Saranac Lake and Saranac Central.  The team posted a record of 6 wins, 1 loss and 1 tie with the Blue Team going undefeated.  The Blue Team even had a couple of bump, set, spikes!

Modified Play Day

The Modified team plays at Saranac Lake Middle School today, 4:30-6:30.  We will be playing against Saranac Lake and Saranac Central.  The bus leaves at 3:40.  Players should be ready at 3:30.  The Blue team will be playing our 4-2 offense.  They will be trying to pass, set and hit.  The Gold team will be playing "ball over" offense, which means they will try to send the ball back to the other side in as few touches as possible.

Varsity wins in SL

The Varsity Volleyball team posted a big 3-1 win in a loud Saranac Lake gym.  Good job team!

Today we practice from 3:00-5:00.  JV and Varsity have a match at Saranac Lake.  We are working on a 4-2 offense, which means 4 attackers and 2 setters.  We are slowly moving from just getting the ball over the net to a real offense with a pass, set and spike.  This is a big transition, but we are tackling it little by little.

The JV and Varsity volleyball teams won yesterday against Northern Adirondack.  JV won 2-1 and Varsity won 3-1.  Practice for Modified today is 3:00-4:30.
